'Equity', 'Bonds', 'Dividend', 'Liquidity', 'Shares'...... We all have heard these terms at least once in our life. We may not know what it means, but we all have heard it somewhere or from someone. Chances are that many of you already know the importance of managing personal wealth and are interested in investing but don't know where to start. You have tried reading about it on the Internet, watched a video or tried a few famous books on investing but got overwhelmed by the jargons. These were the problems that I had faced when I was in college, and that is why I have created this guide to de-clutter Equity Investing in the simplest possible way.

This series' sole purpose is to help young people who are living their college life or have just graduated and started earning, clarify their doubts about investing. This series consists of small articles and videos that will help you understand the fundamentals of how the Equity market works, how individuals and companies earn from it and most importantly how you can get started with it. After completing these blogs and videos, you will not only be able to understand the whole process but, will also be able to read any company's balance sheet and decide whether the stock is worth buying or selling. In between, we will also cover other popular things like Mutual Funds, Debt Funds etc. If all this is looking a bit confusing to you right now, don't worry, this blog series will clarify everything.

One important thing: This blog is not about giving people Sharemarket hacks., this is about educating everyone about Equity Investments and the technicalities involved with it.

So I think we all are ready to dive deeper into the topic and learn more about it. I will see you in the next blog, where we will understand what the Equity market is? Why do we need it? And how it can help us manage our finances better. Till then, Happy Learning!!!
